The 2011 Conference on the Environment, Planning for a Changing Environment, was held at the Rensselaerville Meeting Center in Rensselaerville, NY, from October 21 to 23. The Center is a unique facilty set in the midst of the Helderberg Mountains, 27 miles southwest of Albany. It is located on a 100 acre country estate surrounded by 3000 acres of nature preserve.
The Conference included workshops presented by the Department of State and workshops presented by the Department of Environmental Conservation concerning Climate Smart Communities.
