2014 Conference on the Environment

The 2014 Conference on the Environment was held October 2-4, 2014 at the Hilton Doubletree Hotel in downtown Binghamton, NY.  It was co-hosted by the Binghamton Regional Sustainability Coalition and Broome County Environmental Management Council.

The conference showcased environmental best practices in the Southern Tier, along with cases around the state and beyond.  The keynote speaker was John Rhodes, President and CEO of the New York State Energy Research Development Authority (NYSERDA), and the conference included tours of the Binghamton Urban Farm and green energy homes.  Festivities kicked off with a concert by a popular regional band, the Horseflies.
