Julie Ruben
I’ve been an environmentalist since childhood, as well as an activist. Currently I am a partner in the Lower Hudson PRISM; a lake monitoring/testing volunteer in the NYSFOLA CSLAP program; and an educator and land-and-lake steward in my cooperative community. I currently serve on the Putnam Valley Commission for the Conservation of the Environment (CCE).
I have worked as a publicist for film festivals and films. In recent years I have been working primarily with authors to publicize their books. I was Executive Director of a non-profit, and organized a large annual conference.
I am very pleased to volunteer for the Board of NYSACC. I hope what I can bring to the organization will be of use.
